| Soo... I'm not so great at updating my xanga either. I've been married for about 2 1/2 months now, and I love it! I will love it either more when Wes doesnt work nights any more, but in general, married life is great... probably because I have the best husband in all the world.
I did find out that we are having a girl! I'm SUPER excited. She doesn't have a name, and wes doesn't want to pick one officially until she's born, just in case we change our minds. That said, his whole family already calls her "Andie", and will continue to do so until we choose a name. So basically she'll be Andie for 4 months before she's born lol. I like Andie, so I don't mind. :) Her middle name will be Rose, that is pretty much set.
Her nursery is 0% decorated. I have a few decorations but it needs to be painted and the current stuff needs to be taken out of there. Oh, and we haven't picked out the nursery furniture yet either. The nursery theme is Alice in Wonderland. It is going to be VERY cute.

| Wow, so much is going on. If this is the only way you keep up with me, you are WAY behind lol. I have a lot running through my mind, but first I wanted to post an update. If you don't already know, I'm engaged and pregnant!
Wes and I are getting married on April 26th in a very small, private ceremony. We are having a party that night to celebrate with our friends, so if you want to come, let me know, and I'll get you directions and details. My bridesmaids are Kristen Johnson, Laura Hafer, Lenoria Hodges, Gina Donaldson, Beth Lane (My little sister), and Jana Young (Wes's sister). For those who are wondering, my new last name will be Parker. :)
I am 8 weeks pregnant, and its going by pretty quickly I suppose. I can't wait until October though! (My due date is October 15). I have a dr appt tomorrow just to see that the baby has a good heartbeat and make sure everything is going as it should. I wont find out what it is until May, but I'll let you know as soon as I know lol.
I am (or will be in the direct future) living with Wes in his house in North Little Rock. We're going to do a little bit of work on the house, so we'll be moving out for a month or so, but other than that, the house is good. Its in a great location which is just minutes from the I-30/I-40 interchange, but not so close that you can hear the highway traffic. I like NLR, and going into LR is very convenient from here. It takes me about 30 minutes to get to work, which is not too bad compared to the 20 it took me when I lived in Conway lol.
Bella is doing good... she's monsterously huge and not quite potty trained yet, but she's getting there. She loves to play outside, and she knows who her momma is! lol... she wont do anything when she comes in from outside until she finds me to say hi first. She is the cutest dog ever, and although I dont have the energy to deal with a puppy right now, Wes does great with her, so I'm glad I didnt get rid of her.
Speaking of energy, I have none. I go to sleep between 7 and 9 most nights... of course I wake up at 3 am, but I do that regardless of when I go to sleep, bc my bladder seems to have developed an alarm clock and its set to 3 am lol. Being pregnant is not that much fun, but I hear that its much better once you get out of the first trimester. I have 4 weeks left of it, so we'll see. I haven't thrown up, but "morning" sickness has shown up plenty. I'm pretty nauseas almost every night and some mornings. I've only forgotten to take my prenatal vitamins twice so far, so I think I'm doing pretty good. There are many weird feelings in my belly and abs lately lol... most of them are uncomfortable or painful, but thats just bc of how rapidly everything about the baby is growing. It'll be worth it all in the end, and I'm really excited. I'll update more after I go to the dr tomorrow.
Other than that, let's see... Well, I'm still looking into ways to finish getting certified to teach. Having a baby will certainly set me off a bit, since I can't enroll in anything next semester really... but other than that, I think I may be able to do it. I mean, my goal is just to be teaching by the time my kid is in school, so we'd be on similar schedules... and that isn't for like 5 years lol. But the sooner the better. I think about lessons and teaching a lot... I never realized how much I really loved it. Plus, then I can have summers off with Jana  .
This is getting long already and I've barely moved from updates to blogging... hmph. Well, maybe I should blog some other day... I should really get back to work anyways. I'm working from home today bc of all the snow this morning (which is all gone already), and the network is really slow bc so many other people are also working from home, so I'm not getting much done as is.
One last note... I wish more people would update their xangas. I have a few friends and acquaintances who do, and I know more about some people that I was hardly friends with than I do about whats going on in my friends' lives lol. I know I should be better at keeping up communication without blogs, but they help!

| Here's to Britney, who wishes the whole world would write on xanga. I'm not the whole world, but now its one person closer. :)
I haven't updated this in so long that those few subscribers remaining probably haven't the slightest clue what is happening in my life. This update may be in reverse order lol, but it will suffice.
First and most importantly, I am now the proud aunt of the most beautiful niece in the universe! Laila Marie Garcia was born December 26, 2007 weighing 8 lb 4 oz. She's a chunk, but quite a beautiful one! I've spent most of the past week up here at my sister's house (bc I took vacation this week), and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with my favorite one week old baby.
I'm also now the proud mommy of one puppy named Bella (as in Bella Donna... by Stevie Nicks... duh). She's quite annoying, as most puppies are, but very very cute. I love her.
Hmm... what else. Oh, I've made a wonderful new group of friends in the Conway/Little Rock area. 2 groups actually, but they overlap by a few people. The first group I found is the Smile Church. Check them out at www.peacelovehuman.com. They are the most rockin awesome people ever. Then, I joined the Toaster Club, which is pretty much just a big group of really fun girls who have little parties and get-togethers. We had a christmas party, which consisted of 18 girls... what a night! Then the new years masquerade ball, which was of course not restricted only to girls lol. It was an awesome night, and I met an awesome boy. His name is Wes, and he likes me lol. I've only seen him once since then (we watched KU beat VT)... bc I've been in Harrison mostly. I'm sure you'll hear more about him in the near future lol.
Lets see what else has happened... Well for thanksgiving, Kristen and I took a trip down to Baton Rouge to watch LSU beat AR... we all know thats not what we saw, but that's what we went for. After the terrible loss, we spent a fun weekend in New Orleans and then headed back home. It was a good time, even if the outcome of the game sucked lol.
I think that's probably far enough back to go... oh! I can't believe I almost forgot...
Well, if you read a few posts down, you already know this... but I've met with my boss and gotten the approval to become home-based and work from California. They think the whole process should be done in about a month, but I'm probably not going to leave until May or June. The plan is to move to the town that my mom and grama will be living in for about a year or 2, during which I'll get my car all paid off... and hopefully a bit of my student loans. Then I'll save up some money, and without a car payment, I'll hopefully be able to afford rent for somewhere awesome in southern california... its a bit of a drawn out plan, but I think it will work out much better than just moving out there haphazardly. When I went out there, I realized I didn't want to move out there for fun for a bit and then find somewhere to settle down. Really, I want to live a fun life and then move there to settle down.... and since that's where I want to stay, I don't mind it taking a while to get there. I'm pretty excited that its in sight though... there's actually a real plan that ends there, and I've actually gotten the ball rolling on it! I'm so excited because I love my job and I get to do it from my house and be in California! What else could you ask for?
Anyways, I think that's about it. I'm finally getting to know more people here in the LR/Conway area... just in time to move and start all over lol. I wish I could all my friends with me... I hate trying to re-establish my circle of friends every time I move... oh well, such is life.
Anyways, its time to pack up my stuff and get going back to conway. I miss all my friends, so call me sometime and catch up... and post on xanga... like brit, I wish everyone would post on here... then I'd have some idea of what's going on in your lives! :)
